Vancouver/Victoria, British Columbia: May 16, 2006: TP Systems announced the official unveiling of its two Spirit Bears: Bearthoven and Imagine, The John Lennon Tribute Bear. Bearthoven, dressed in ruffled shirt and red overcoat, is on display in Downtown Vancouver at the corner of Burrard and Dunsmuir. Imagine, reminiscent of John Lennon’s car that calls the Vancouver Royal Museum home, is on display at Bastion Square in Victoria.

TP Systems sponsored two artists to decorate the seven-foot-tall fiberglass bears as part of Spirit Bears in the City. The bears will be on display for public viewing until early October 2006 as part of the Kermode Spirit Bears Art Exhibit. After October, the bears will be removed from their sites and auctioned off to raise money for the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities and the Canucks for Kids’ Fund.
