Vancouver, BC, September 20, 2006 - TP Systems announced today its sponsorship of the Adoptive
Families Association of British Columbia’s (AFABC) annual
fundraiser, Wine on the Mountain. The fundraiser will be held on
October 28, 2006, at Grouse Mountain, BC, at 7:00pm in the Lupin
Room.
“All proceeds from the event support Adoptive Family
Association of British Columbia and their mission of finding a
family for every child,” said President John Thompson. “We are
proud to sponsor such an event.”
The AFABC provides adoption education and support to
adoptive parents and to parents considering adoption. Through
their work, they help waiting children find loving and permanent
homes, which is the same philosophy that lead to the development
of AdoptionLynx, TP Systems’ adoption case management system,
which helps adoption professionals place children into permanent
and loving families.”
Wine on the Mountain will be an entertaining wine and food
pairing fundraising party with world class wines and exceptional
Sommelier talent. The evening includes People's Choice Awards,
presented by TP Systems; live music; auctions and an array of
wine and food pairing presentations. Guests will also enjoy hors
d'oeuvres prepared by Grouse Mountain's award-winning chef.
Tickets cost $65 and include the cost of the gondola ride to the
