Vancouver, BC, May 30, 2006 (TP Systems Ltd.) - TP Systems announced today that it will exhibit its award-winning adoption system, AdoptionLynx, at the 32nd Annual Adoption Conference to be held in Long Beach, California on July 26-29, 2006.

“Choosing to exhibit AdoptionLynx at the NACAC conference was an easy decision,” says TP Systems President, John Thompson. The NACAC conference ‘promotes and supports permanent families for children and youth in the US and Canada who have been waiting in care. The conference attracts attendees from all over North America who are interested in the welfare of children and families.”

AdoptionLynx, was developed in collaboration with the British Columbia Ministry of Children and Family Development to improve adoption service delivery to waiting children and prospective adoptive parents. Known as the Adoption Management System within the ministry, Adoption Lynx is one of the tools that adoption social workers can use to facilitate successful and permanent adoptions. TP Systems extends an invite to all NACAC attendees to stop by the booth and view the system.

Recently, the adoption system was a recipient of the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre 2006 Technology Award for Innovative Excellence: Software or Electronic Service Delivery. The system’s nine modules support the complete adoption framework, including the registration, matching, and intake of adoptive children and prospective families; the tracking of exchange and post-adoption openness agreements; and the birth father, reunion and post-adoption assistance registry.

An innovative feature of the AdoptionLynx is its Pseudo-matching Module. The module allows adoption workers to create what-if scenarios that provide information useful for increasing the likelihood of a successful match between a prospective adoptive family and a waiting child.

AdoptionLynx will be on exhibit at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center for the entire length of the conference. Accommodation for the conference is available at either the Hyatt Regency Long Beach (800.233.1234) or the Renaissance Long Beach (800.468.3571).
