Why ARMS Was Developed
ARMS was initially intended to meet the needs of one of TP Systems’ long-term clients. As it was being developed, it became clear that this application would prove to be an asset for other TP Systems accounts, as well. Subsequently, ARMS became a browser-based application using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server, both world-recognized development environments.

Problem Escalations and Notifications
ARMS can track the escalation of each problem and service request, and then notify the appropriate users via e-mail. This automated process continues until the problem is either resolved or closed. The messages sent to users can also be configured for specific events such as: New, Closed, Time Escalations, Severity Changes, Resolution or Recovery and Task Assignments. The levels of severity, escalation and event notifications can be configured to each client’s unique needs.

Project, Budget and Resource Management
For projects and ongoing support activities, ARMS can be used to create, manage and assign tasks. Resources are notified of task assignments and can then track time in their timesheets based on those tasks. This allows project managers to monitor the progress, budget and status of estimated/allocated hours vs. actual resource hours within the projects and tasks.
